CHARLES L. RAPPAZZO Latham- Charles L. Rappazzo, 92 of Latham, passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Hospice Inn at St. Peter's in Albany. Born on September 6, 1923, he was the son of the late Joseph and Jenny (DeAugustine) Rappazzo. Charlie was married to the former Anne L. Levsha for 65 wonderful years prior to his passing and he proudly served in the US Army during World War II. Charlie loved family life, especially the family gatherings at their home on the Mohawk River. He also loved his friends especially the ones in Sarasota Florida, where they spent many winters. He was employed for the NYS Department of Law in Albany as a Senior Investigator for the Attorney General's Office, before retiring in 1985. In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his children: Charlene Shortsleeve of Albany, Robert (Karyn) Rappazzo and Richard (Debra) Rappazzo all of Latham, and his grandchildren: Race, Risa, Robin, Rhea, Rayne and Lucy as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister: Rose "Babe" Scott Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Sunday, November 1, 2015 from 1-3 pm at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Hospice Inn at St. Peters, 315 S Manning Blvd, Albany, NY 12208.
