Bradenton, FL- William Zygmunt Bryk of Bradenton, FL, beloved husband of the late Joy Kathleen (Hart) Bryk, passed away on January 17, 2015 in Bradenton, FL. Born March 14, 1933 in Cohoes, he was the son of Michael and Sophie (Walenga) Bryk. Bill married his beloved Joy K. Hart on April 18, 1954 and the two shared 56 years of love and devotion prior to her passing in 2010. Bill was a manager for National Auto Stores for 25 years, until 1980. He later worked for Hart Alarms in Watervliet until he retired in 1995. He was very talented and enjoyed artwork, decoupage, and carving. A Latham resident for over 34 years, he has resided in Bradenton, FL since 1997. Bill was a communicant of St. Ambrose Church in Latham and Ss. Peter & Paul the Apostles in Bradenton. Bill was a devoted family man who always put his family first. He is survived by his 7 loving children: William M. (Mimi) of Brooklyn, Michael W. (Lisa) of Averill Park, Kenneth H. (Glen) of Orlando, FL, Mary Elizabeth (John) of College Station, TX, Henry J. of Latham, Margaret M. (Brian) Kinney of Hoosick Falls, and Andrew J. (Kristen) of Latham. William was the brother of Cecilia Bailey, Marian Bordin, Milton, Charles, Zygmunt, Michelina Close, and Helen Vertefeville. Survivors also include his sisters-in-law Sally Duval (Ernest) and Judith A. Hart, cherished grandchildren, Michael (Krystal), Rachel, Haley, Erin, Jake, Luke and Quinn, great-grandchildren Kendall and Michael, and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday January 24, 2015 at 9:00 am at St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Fr. Anthony Barratt officiating Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home on Friday January 23, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Interment will be next to his wife in St. Agnes Cemetery in Menands.
