Obituary of Sherry Lee Sano

Hudson Florida- Sherry Lee Sano, 62 of Hudson Florida, beloved wife of Retired NYSP Quartermaster Thomas D. Sano, died Friday, November 7, 2008 at her home in Hudson. Born in Elkhorn, WI, she was the daughter of the late Thomas A. and the late Colleen R. (Houseman) Smith. She was a graduate of Ichabod Crane High School. Sherry married Thomas D. Sano October 11, 1969 and the two have shared a blessed union for the last 39 years. Sherry was a Senior Records Room Clerk, employed by NYS Police Troop G- Latham for many years until retiring in 2000. Survivors include her beloved husband: Thomas D. Sano and her sister Sandra J. Taylor of Tucson, AZ, her half sister Tammy Stanley of Albany and half brother Thomas A. Smith of Hudson, NY, she is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Friday November 14, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, Ltd., 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. A calling period will precede the service from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels, Albany. In Lieu of flowers contributions to the Hospice organization of your choice in memory of Sherry Lee Sano would be appreciated.
