Obituary of Helen M. Keith

HELEN M. KEITH Cohoes- Helen M. Keith, 95 of Cohoes, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2017 at Evergreen Commons in East Greenbush. . Born in Carbondale, PA on January 28, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Harry J. and Olive (Emmett) Proctor. She was a graduate of Benjamin Franklin High School in Carbondale, PA. Helen was predeceased by her husbands; Marcil R. Michaud, George Houlton and Ronald Bruce Keith. Helen was employed for over 30 years as a Clerk with the A & P Company in Wynantskill; she also worked at various other stores during her time with the company. She was a member of the Colonie Senior Citizens and Calvary United Methodist Church. She is survived by her son: Marcil (Joyce) R. Michaud of Clifton Park as well as her stepchildren; James (Debbie) Keith of Clifton Park, Scott (Patty) Keith of Waterford and Nancy (Bob) Metcalf of Mechanicville as well as numerous grandchildren and many adored great grandchildren. Helen is predeceased by her son, Alfred E. Houlton and step-son Robert Keith as well as her step daughter; Susan Smith. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Friday from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Rd., Latham. Funeral services will be celebrated on Friday June 16, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. following the visitation at the funeral home. Pastor John Phillippe will officiate.
