Obituary of Margaret "Peg" M. Pearsall

MARGARET "PEG" M. PEARSALL Latham-Margaret "Peg" M. Pearsall, 82 of Latham, beloved wife of the late George "Pep" W. Pearsall, entered into eternal life on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at the Community Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. Born in Troy, NY on January 2, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Joseph R. Feeney Sr. and the late Margaret M. (Kennedy) Feeney. After graduating from Catholic Central in Troy in 1952, Peg went on to earn a B.A. from Siena College in history, and an M.A. in elementary education from Russell Sage. She then taught fourth grade for many years at Shenendehowa Central School District in Clifton Park, before eventually retiring from teaching. She was a longtime communicant of Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Latham. Survivors include her nephews Joseph R. Feeney Jr., John J. Feeney and Jerry M. Feeney, and her loving feline companions Ike and Mike. Peg was predeceased by her brother Joseph R. Feeney Sr. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday June 16, 2017 at 10:00 am in Our Lady of the Assumption Chapel, 498 Watervliet-Shaker Road, Latham. Relatives and friends are invited to call Thursday from 5:00 pm. until 7:00 p.m. at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, Ltd., 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham, NY.
