Just learned of your mothers passing. I am sorry for your loss. I remember how strong she was after your Dad's death. I will never forget how she talked at CCHS including each one of her children. I never heard a gym full of teenagers so quiet, so inspired and so respectful. God bless each and everyone.

To the Kelly Family, my thoughts and prayers to you all. I have memories of your happy and sweet mother. Always bubbly and forever smiling. I remember cutting thru your yard to get to the convenient mart and she was always so sweet if I "got caught". And to Jay Kelly it has been a long time but she was a saint for some of the adolescent antics you pulled in school. Thoughts and prayers from Nashville, TN.

Your mother was my favorite teacher at School 18 and to this day, I can recite the names of the presidents in order as she had us do each day upon entering her classroom!!! Also to this day, I still love matching shoes and pocketbooks!!!!! She was an inspiration to all of us at School 18! So sorry for your loss. Hope you all find comfort in knowing that others are thinking of you in this difficult time.

Thinking of all of you during this difficult time. Your mom was an amazing lady and an important part of so many lives including my own. She was one of the best...a kind and gentle soul who always put others' interests ahead of her own. Thoughts and prayers are with all of you and your families.

Condolences to the Kelly children on the loss of your Mother.
I knew your Mother long before she married your Father and that was a long time ago!
I remember one time in 1979 when your parents bought our above ground pool from us and I was helping your Father erect it in the side yard of your house. Around noon your Mother brought out sandwiches for your Father and I that would put Mr. Subb's to shame. I never forgot that and the sandwich was great.
Jay, I think I was one of your first customers to buy cards from your new enterprise. I still have some, seeing as your Father talked me into buying 500.
I remember one of you boys were burn by hot water. A couple of days after that happened, I picked up a couple of nuns at the Provincial House to take them to a wake at Cummings Funeral Home in Watervliet. I told them the story and asked them to pray for him. Later on I was to be informed that the Provincial House had a mass said just for him. You can't beat that.
Another time one of the girls were covered by mosquito bites. When I asked you Mother what happened she told me the screen in her bedroom window fell in and the the mosquitoes had a feast.
That awful day in April of 1981 still bothers me.

Your mother was one of my favorite teachers at School 18, when she was still Miss Ashley. We all adored her and the girls loved how she always dressed so smartly and wore very high heels. Most importantly, she instill in me a love for American history and I can still recite the American presidents in perfect order, thanks to her having us walk into class each day calling out their names. She is in my heart and you, her family, are in my prayers as you go through the difficult days ahead.

I was stunned to hear of Nancy's passing and will miss her dearly. Her presence on this Earth blessed many people and her compassion, friendship and unconditional love blessed my life immeasurably. Nancy loved you, her children and family, and raised you to be wonderful people you are. legacy lives on in each of you and your children.
For me, Nancy was an inspiration. Her strength and faith and unconditional love was amazing and humbled me. Nancy was both a friend and confidante. She loved and supported me and loved my children. We had many stimulating conversations broad and narrow, spiritual and secular and explored many aspects of our lives and often, the state of the world. Her smile and laugh brightened each day.
Nancy's passing is a loss to me and those who love her but is a major gain for Heaven.
I know without a doubt, the Lord met her with open arms and a strong embrace at the gates with her beloved Moe by His side. There is a new angel in Heaven this day.
My prayers and thoughts are with you all now and always.

There was never a time that we were around Nancy (Gigi), that she wasn't smiling or laughing at every birthday party/family function! She loved watching all the kids run around the yard laughing and playing together or Uncle Matt making snow cone after snow cone & who could come up with the "funkiest" colors!! She will be greatly missed by us all!! God Bless!!
