WILLIAM H. SPIAK Latham- William H. Spiak, 93 of Latham, passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Emeritus at Colonie Manor, in Latham. Born in Colonie on April 8, 1919, he was the son of the late Harrison and Rose (Ksenich) Spiak. Bill proudly served during World War II in the US Navy. William was employed at the Watervliet Arsenal in Watervliet as an inspector for many years and was a communicant at St. Ambrose Church in Latham. Bill is survived by his niece: Dolores Haverly of Watervliet and his nephew, Richard "Rich" Shostak of Clifton Park. He is predeceased by his sister, Pauline R. Shostak and several other siblings. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Friday morning October 5, 2012 from 8:00-8:45 AM at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday October 5 at 9:00 am at St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Road, Latham.
