Patricia Ann DeVito Obituary
LOUDONVILLE - Patricia Ann “Pat” DeVito, 91, of Loudonville, NY and Marco Island, FL, peacefully completed her life’s journey on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 10, 2026 at her beach home in Marco Island with her husband of nearly 72 years, Costanzo (“Connie”), by her side.
Born on January 3, 1935, in Jersey City, NJ, Patricia proudly started her professional career at Chase Bank in Manhattan after graduating high school. It was during this time she met her beloved husband, Connie. They stayed together ever since, building a beautiful life after marrying on June 19, 1954, at the Church of the Assumption in Mechanicville, NY.
Patricia devoted her life to her family, lovingly raising her six children with support, nurturance, and, at times, the suggestion of a better direction. Patricia was a true matriarch and the bedrock of her family, supporting them alongside her husband who, in later years, never left her side and made sure she received the same loving attention and care. After her children had grown, Patricia started a real estate career where she not only found professional success but made many friends and hosted several parties; And what parties they were!
It will remain a mystery how Patricia managed and conquered through her life’s journey while serving as a role model, devoted wife, and a mother who illuminated the right path for her family. To those who knew her best, Patricia was never afraid to take action towards prodding life in the proper direction.
Patricia is survived by her husband Connie DeVito; their five children Matthew (Becky) of Marston Mills, MA, Maria (Jim) Warrenchak of Colonie, NY, Victor (Joan) of Clifton Park, NY, Patricia (Todd) Grace of Alpharetta, GA, and Vincent (Karyn) of Great Falls, VA; two granddaughters Rachel Grace and Jennifer Mau; seven grandsons Joshua DeVito, Adam and Schuyler Warrenchak, Devin Grace, and Matthew, Ben, and Jack DeVito; and great granddaughter Victoria Mau. Patricia is preceded in death by her daughter, Rosetta, and her parents Victor and Mildred (Hauser) Buzzelli.
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 5 to 7 p.m. at The Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham, NY. A Mass in celebration of Patricia’s amazing life will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 10:30 am, St. Pius X Church, 23 Crumitie Road, Loudonville, NY. Interment to follow at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
