Robert J. "Bob" Timberlin Obituary
WATERVLIET - Robert J. "Bob" Timberlin, 54, of Watervliet, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Samaritan Hospital in Troy.
Born on February 3, 1972, he was the son of James E. Timberlin, Sr. and the late Patricia A. (Folmsbee) Timberlin.
Bob was a dedicated, long-time employee for the Center for Disability Services, where he truly loved his work at the mail center on New Karner Road in Albany. Known for his warm personality, Bob had an outstanding memory and a remarkable gift for remembering everyone's name, allowing him to make many cherished friends throughout his life. He was a passionate collector of presidential coins, an avid fan of the New York Mets, and a massive enthusiast of anything and everything having to do with Elvis Presley.
In addition to his father, James, Bob is survived by his loving siblings: his brother, James Timberlin, Jr.; and his sisters, Connie Timberlin and Jennifer Jatta. He is also survived by several dear nieces and nephews.
In addition to his mother, Patricia, Bob was predeceased by his brother, Kenneth Timberlin.
In accordance with Bob's and his family's wishes, there are no services scheduled at this present time. Future services will take place with dates and times to be announced.
