Frederick "Fred" J. Nordloh III, 55, of Albany, beloved husband of Jessica L. Vignola-Nordloh, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, April 21, 2026.

Born September 1, 1970, in Chatham, New York, he was the son of Frederick and Eva (Novosel) Nordloh, Sr. Fred was a proud graduate of Chatham High School, Class of 1989.

Fred dedicated his career to helping others, working as a driver for the Center for Disability Services in Albany since 2009, where he assisted clients with transportation to and from programs. He found great fulfillment in the relationships he built and the care he provided.

He was an avid sports fan who passionately followed the Albany Firebirds, Boston Celtics, and Buffalo Bills. Fred also enjoyed NASCAR, especially cheering on his favorite driver, Chase Elliott. He had a special love for all things Peanuts, particularly Snoopy, and was a devoted fan of Star Wars.

Fred will be forever missed, yet always cherished in the hearts of those who loved him.

In addition to his wife, Jessica, he is survived by his sister, Katina Nordloh (John); his mother-in-law, Janice (late Anthony) Vignola; his siblings-in-law, Anthony (Melissa) Vignola, Tyrone (Colleen) Vignola, and Tony Vignola; and his nieces and nephews, Gianna, Anthony, Joey, and Jordan Vignola. He will also be deeply missed by his beloved canine companions, Rue, Mia, and Reese.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, April 27, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at The Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Funeral service will take place Tuesday, April 28, 2026, 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home immediately followed by interment at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery in Albany.
