COLONIE - Anne Elizabeth Johnson, 100 of Colonie, cherished wife of 37 years to the late Lloyd F. Johnson passed away peacefully on April 6, 2026 at Schuyler Ridge Residential Healthcare in Clifton Park, with her devoted daughter at her side.

Born in Queens New York on July 31, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Eleanor (McGrane) Bachem.

Early in her career, Anne worked at Exxon Mobil and was then employed with the State University of Albany as a secretary in the library from where she would eventually retire from. She was a member of the Colonie Elks Lodge #2192 Ladies Auxiliary as well as the Colonie Senior Citizens at Beltrone where she enjoyed playing pinochle with her friends. She was a member of the H.B. Kuhn Senior Citizen Center in Colonie where she also enjoyed the activities there for many years. Anne was an ambassador at the Albany International Airport and a member of the Exxon Mobil Retiree Club of Albany.

Anne is survived by her loving daughters Barbara (Kevin) Jackson and Janet (David) Ladu as well as her cherished grandson Tyler (Pam) Ladu and 3 adored great grandchildren Hailee, Nylah and Avrie Ladu. Also survived by her brother Jack (Nancy) Hayes.

She is predeceased by her sister Eleanor Morrissey and brother Joseph Hayes.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Friday, April 10, 2026 from 9:00 to 10:00 am in the chapel at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 498 Watervliet-Shaker Road, Latham. A funeral mass, celebrated by Rev. Tom Fallati, will follow in the main church. Interment will take place at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Colonie.
