GERALDINE A. NOLAN

LATHAM - Geraldine A. "Gerri" Nolan, 94, of Latham, passed away peacefully on November 24, 2025, at the Eddy Heritage House in Troy with her loving family at her side. Born on April 27, 1931, in Watervliet, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Brown) Wilson.

Gerri attended Catholic Central High School and went on to complete the nursing program at The Brady in Troy. On June 4, 1955, she married Charles J. Nolan, sharing 37 cherished years of marriage prior to his passing in 1992.

Deeply devoted to her faith and parish community, Gerri worked as a secretary and instructor for the Religious Education Program at St. Ambrose Church in Latham for many years. She volunteered generously throughout St. Ambrose Church and School, including serving as a Eucharistic Minister. Gerri was also actively involved in several other organizations which her daughters were involved with such as the Girl Scouts and the 4-H Club, always supporting the growth and interests of young people in her community.

In addition to her late parents and her husband, Gerri was predeceased by her beloved grandson, Charlie Ferris.

She is survived by her four daughters: Mary (late Leonard) Ruggiero, Julia (late Michael) Allen, Erin Nolan, and Colleen (Daniel) Randall. She was the proud grandmother of Maria (Kenny), Laura (Michael), Leonard Jr., Tara (Adam), Sara (Kevin), Jessica (Vincent), Emily (Mark), Theresa, Michael (Paige), Patrick (Eleni), John Jr., Joshua, Jesse, Bridget, and Vinny and loved great-grandmother to her fifteen great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her services on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Road, Latham. A visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the church, immediately followed by the Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Watervliet.
