MARY BETH RYAN
LOUDONVILLE - Mary Beth (Minahan) Ryan, 86 of Loudonville, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025, at the Teresian House in Albany. She was the daughter of the late Dr. Edward and Lyda Minahan of Troy.
Mary Beth lived a very fulfilling life as the devoted wife of 61 years to her beloved husband, Bill, and as a loving mother to eight children: Jude (Philip), Stephen (Janeen), David (Cheryl), the late Kate, Billy, Erin (Carl), Meghan (Jairo), and Sean. Additional survivors include 11 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, her sister-in-law Marion Minahan as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her late parents and daughter, Mary Beth is predeceased by her siblings Anne Moran, James Minahan, and Edward Minahan.
Mary Beth enjoyed a distinguished 50-year career as a registered nurse, working primarily in geriatrics and later for the New York State Department of Health. A parishioner of St. Pius X Church in Loudonville for 53 years, Mary Beth served faithfully as a Eucharistic Minister and as a mentor in the RCIA program.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, November 3, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at St. Pius X Church, 23 Crumitie Road, Loudonville, NY. A Funeral Mass will follow the visitation at 12:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Albany Rural Cemetery.
