Simply put, Matt was the life of the party. From scoutmaster to grill-master, Matt loved bringing people together for a good time. His laugh was infectious and his quips, dance moves and impressions served as constant reminders to never take life too seriously. He worked hard alongside his wife to build their dream home and family, and they frequently enjoyed hosting neighborhood parties and get-togethers with loved ones. Matt could make anyone smile, was always willing to lend a hand on a home improvement project and lived every day like it was his last. He is already deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Calling hours will be held at The Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Rd., Latham on Sunday, July 27, 2025 from 4-7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Rd., Latham on Monday, July 28, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. followed by interment in St. Agnes Cemetery Menands.
