JAMES M. STEPHENS

COHOES - James Michael Stephens, 53 of Cohoes, passed away on May 30, 2025 after a long battle with kidney cancer. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Amber Stephens, a close group of dear friends, Patty Lincoln, Rick and Michelle Lincoln and their son Ross, Tania and Steven Metz and their family, his much-loved cats, and several other friends and family members.

Jim worked as a customer service representative for most of his career. He really enjoyed working with computers and was especially proud of achieving his A+ Computing Certificate in 2010. In addition to computers, he enjoyed all technology and gaming. Jim loved cooking, especially for his household and friends. He was an avid reader and loved all types of music.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at The Dufresne and Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Rd., Latham on June 21, 2025 from 1:00 to 2:00pm. The visitation will conclude with a brief prayer service. Private interment will take place at a later date.
