I’m saddened to hear of Allen’s passing and I’m so very sorry for your loss. He was the coolest cousin to me as a kid because he gave me my very first motorcycle ride. We always talked about music and concerts. Also loved going out on my Dad’s boat for rides in the Hudson. RIP.

Al's passing was really shocking and saddening to me. When we ran into each other in the hallways at GE, we only chatted a little. He was always cheerful and very friendly. When we saw deer in the woods in front of the building, he told me the male deer shed antlers each year (which I did not know before). And he often asked, "Have you filed new patents? " Now I will never see him again in the hallways. Rest in peace, Al! You will be missed.

I did not know Al well, but we used to talk in the locker room at the gym here at GE in Niskayuna. He was a kind, gentle, and friendly man. I will miss seeing him.
My deepest condolences to his friends and family.

I was saddened to hear of Allen's passing. He was always so pleasant in the hallway passings at work, and I know so many people that had work and personal relationships with him. I know that he will be deeply missed by so many. My sympathies to all.

I worked with Al for little over 3 years. During that time, we became very good friends and formed a unique bond. Al actually moved in next door to me 2 years ago. We used to walk around our neighborhood anytime the weather was good and talked about all sorts of interesting things. We used to go to the football games at the MVP once in a while and go out to other places when we could. I felt a close bond with Al in the short time I knew him. Being with him felt like I was with one of my friends that I knew all my life. He was a very comfortable guy to be around and had a lot of great stories and adventures to tell. I enjoyed being around Al very much and will miss him. Even my mom and Al became friends as well as Al sometimes had made dinner for us on occasion. he was a very kind and thoughtful person.
Please accept my condolences. I know he is in a good place looking down at all of us with a great big smile.
