Patrick & Tricia Reuss posted a condolence
Monday, April 14, 2025
Dear Tracy, Kevin, Kelsey and members of the O'Rourke family:
Please accept our condolences on Jack's passing. We were fortunate to befriend Jack as members of Wolfert's Roost and shared many laughs and special family occasions with Jack throughout the years. The stories with Jack were numerous, but one that sticks out was when Tricia and I brought home our firstborn, Patrick, to the Roost only to leave his pacifier on the bar after we left for home after a last round with Jack. Then of course, we get there the next Sunday morning for Brunch and Jack wisely brought Patrick's pacifier in a shot glass to us with a big Irish grin on his face and said, "you might have needed this for Patrick this morning" and it was hysterical. Jack was a fixture at the Roost and it was great to see him go off to a well-deserved retirement. He will be sorely missed and we send our deepest sympathies to the O'Rourke.

JACK was a Godfather to so many of us, his cousins and nieces/ nephews. He truly was such a great and special man and so loved by us.
I will always remember how wonderful he was to my Mom and as such a young guy, he stepped in when she was widowed and helped her sort out all the paperwork, taxes, and etc for the next few years.
He will always hold a special place in my memories and heart. ❤️
