DAWN J. (WEBB) AMICK


WYNANTSKILL - Dawn J. (Webb) Amick, 56 of Wynantskill, beloved wife of Elery "Will" W. Amick Jr., passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at Westchester Medical Center, in Valhalla, NY.


Born in Troy, NY, on December 13, 1968, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Carol T. (Gannon) Webb Sr. She graduated from Troy High School, Class of 1987. She and Will were married on her birthday, December 13, in 2014.


Dawn worked as a Call Center Representative, employed by NYS Children & Family Services in Menands, NY; a job in which she truly enjoyed. She loved to travel with her husband. Favorite destination included the Bahamas, Jamaica, and the Outer Banks. She also enjoyed visits to the casino and spending time at the beach. Dawn was a shopping enthusiast. She loved to shop, most time for others, which was a testament to her giving and caring nature. She would do anything for anyone; always ready and willing to lend a helping hand. In keeping with her selfless spirit, Dawn often donated to her favorite charities Toys for Tots, any charity which benefited veterans, and the Albany City Mission. Her kind heart will be forever missed yet always cherished.


In addition to her husband, Will, Dawn is survived by her siblings Cynthia Webb, Robert (Deborah) Webb Jr., and Sheri (Lisa) Webb. Also survived by her niece and nephews Kylee Webb, Patrick, Randy, and Eric McNeely as well as her great nieces Klara Webb-Lucas and Reilly McNeely.


Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, April 3rd, 2025 from 4:00 - 6:00 pm at The Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham, NY. The funeral to take place on Friday, April 4th at the funeral home beginning at 9:30 am. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Wynantskill.
