Carole Anne Cox Obituary

LATHAM - Carole A. Cox, 81 of Latham, NY passed away peacefully after a brief illness, on March 14th, 2025 with all of her daughters by her side.

Carole was born in Albany on September 20,1943. She was the daughter of the late John and Francis Luciano. She is predeceased by her husband, Eddie Cox.

Carole dedicated 41 years of service to the NYS department of labor as a statistician. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with all of her girls, cooking for everyone, especially on holidays and making sure no one was ever alone. She also loved shopping, cruising, traveling and spending winters in Florida with Eddie and her many Florida friends. Her family meant the most to her and, of course, her fur baby Sophie, who never left her side.

Carole is survived by her daughters, Francine Wilkinson (Cindy Morrone), Dawn (Rick) Kennedy, Michelle Marino (Chris Jobman), Beth (Scott) Houck, and Jennifer ( Darren) Romanski. She was the beloved grandmother to Michael, Ryan, Alexis, Alyssa, Christopher, Courtney, Justin and Jason and proud great-grandmother to Hadley, Holden and Haylee.

Carole's family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated ICU staff at St. Peter's Hospital for the exceptional care and compassion they provided for their mother.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 4-7pm at The Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham NY 12110. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday March 21, 2025 at 9:00am at St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens in Colonie NY, where Carole will be laid to rest next to her husband, Eddie.
