ELIZABETH A. KELLER

TAMPA, FL / SCHODACK, NY - Elizabeth Ann (Reilly) Keller, affectionately known as "Betsy", age 76, formerly of Schodack, NY, passed away on Tuesday, January 21st, 2025 in Tampa, Florida.

Born in Waterbury, Connecticut on July 15th, 1948, Betsy was the daughter of the late Edward J. and Ann E. Reilly of Colonie. She graduated from Vincentian Institute Catholic High School, class of 1966.

Betsy was a homemaker most of her life. She was a vibrant woman who enjoyed entertaining, traveling, dining out and just spending time at home with her husband Bill and her dog, Annie.

She enjoyed a good game of scrabble and was quite the competitor at the game, often challenging when one of us made a word that she didn't think was a real word!

She loved the holidays at home with her family.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her first husband John Terrance McGowan in 2015.

Betsy is survived by her husband William Keller of Spring Hill Florida, two sons Sean McGowan of East Greenbush NY and Jeremy McGowan of Clearwater Florida. Also survived by her two grandchildren Jeremiah & Arianna McGowan and her brother Edward Reilly of South Glens Falls, NY.

The family would like to extend their appreciation and gratitude to the staff and caregivers at Annies Assisted Living and Nursing center in Tampa, Florida for their outstanding care of Elizabeth.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service for Elizabeth on Saturday, February 1st, 2025, 12:00 noon at The Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham, NY.
