Obituary of Charlotte J. Johnson

CHARLOTTE J. JOHNSON Loudonville-Charlotte J. Johnson, 83, of Loudonville, beloved wife of the late Gary R. Johnson, passed away on Monday August 9, 2021 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. Born in Albany, on May 16, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Joseph J. and Dorothy M. (Pulver) Pierce and was predeceased by her infant son, Jason Joseph Johnson. Charlotte is survived by her loving daughter Lisette M. Johnson, son-in-law Mark F. Jarocki, and beloved grandchildren, Isabelle M. Jarocki and Christian A. Jarocki. Charlotte was employed by the New York State Legislature for over 40 years and spent the last 29 years of that time as Committee Director for Senator William J. Larkin. In addition to spending quality time with her family and friends, Charlotte enjoyed traveling with her late husband Gary and the time spent on their boat on Lake George. She also enjoyed dining out with her daughter Lisette and granddaughter Isabelle. Charlotte was a member of Schuyler Meadows Country Club in Loudonville, and she had many happy memories there. Funeral Services will be at the convenience of the family at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham, N.Y. with Rev. John Provost officiating. Calling hours are at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends are invited to the interment on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Watervliet.
