Obituary of Robert "Rob" D. Neville

ROBERT "ROB" D. NEVILLE JR. COLONIE-Robert "Rob" D. Neville, Jr., 53 of Colonie, passed away at his home, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, July 27th, 2021. Born in Albany, NY on January 29, 1968, he was the son of Barbara A. (Schnapp) and the late Robert D. Neville, Sr. Rob was a graduate of Colonie Central High School Class of 1986. He was a Mechanic by trade, and was employed by National Grid based out of Schenectady. Rob was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Notre Dame Football fan and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and boating as well as his beloved dune buggy and Mustang. He had a kind heart which was demonstrated through his giving to others. He often volunteered at the Irish 2000 Music Festival. Rob was a proud member of the N.R.A. He will forever be remembered by family and friends as "The Mayor of Bridle Path". Survivors include the love of his life Kimberly Munkwitz, his mother Barbara Neville, siblings Deborah (Shawn) DeVoe, Kimberly (James) Lauro, Mary Kay Neville, Joanne Neville, Christopher (Marykathryn) W. Neville, as well as nieces and nephews: Ryan, Conor, James, Gabrielle, Nina, Ava, and Layla. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, July 30th, 2021 from 4-7pm at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Funeral service will be held Saturday, 9:00am at the funeral home with Rev Geoffrey Burke officiating. Interment to immediately follow at Albany Rural Cemetery, Menands.
