Obituary of Alla Barszczewska

ALLA BARSZCZEWSKA Ballston Lake-Alla Barszczewska, 55 of Ballston Lake, beloved wife of Wiktor Barszczewski, entered into eternal life on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Albany Medical Center. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alla Barszczewska, age 55, on May 15, 2021. She was born in Balti, Moldova on January 1st, 1966 to Mina and Valentina Gnatyuk. Alla moved to Poland in 1990 after marrying the love of her life, Wiktor Barszczewski. They were married for 31 years and raised four beautiful children. In 2004, Alla and her family immigrated to the United States and settled in Ballston Lake, New York. On March 31, 2021, Alla was admitted to Albany Medical Center after a car accident requiring four trauma surgeries and multiple procedures. After a month and a half in the hospital she passed peacefully with Michal (son) and Kevin (son-in-law) by her side. Before she passed, she said "z Bogom", meaning 'with God', a phrase Alla often used when departing one's company. Alla is survived by Wiktor (husband), Aneta (daughter), Kevin (son-in-law), Michal (son), Julita (daughter), Dustin (son-in-law), Natalia (daughter), Valentina (mother), her four sisters Zhanna, Marina, Lina, and Olga, as well as many nieces and nephews. Alla was a loving wife, mother and soon-to-be grandmother. Family, friends, and others whose lives Alla has touched are invited to the Slavic Pentecostal Church of Evangelical Faith, 8 Simmons Ave, Cohoes, NY 12047, from 7-9pm on Wednesday May 19th, 2021 for a funeral service. The burial will follow the next morning, Thursday May 20th, 2021 at 11am at the Jonesville Cemetery, located on Ushers Rd in Ballston Lake, NY 12019.
