Obituary of Antoinette M. Clemente

ANTOINETTE M. CLEMENTE Clifton Park-Antoinette M. Clemente, 96 of Clifton Park, beloved wife of the late Roger A. Clemente Sr., entered into eternal life on Monday, May 17, 2021 at Albany Medical Center. Born in Troy, on October 15, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Filomena Fazioli Marchese. Antoinette married her dear husband of 66 years, Roger Clemente, on November 25, 1950. She was a longtime communicant of St. Ambrose church as well as a member of the Blue Creek Garden Club and enjoyed volunteering at the Pruyn House in Latham. She worked as a telephone operator for NY Tel prior to raising a family. She loved to knit, making afghans for each member of the family. She was an excellent cook and loved to entertain family and friends. Antoinette and her late husband enjoyed wintering in Hollywood, Florida for many years and spending summers in Lake George. Out of all the things Antoinette loved to do her favorite was spending time with her family. Her family was her life. Survivors include her loving sons Peter (Diane) Clemente, Mark (Linda) Clemente and Christopher Clemente, her cherished grandchildren Jason (Kimberly) Clemente, Kevin (Lauren) Clemente, Michael (Jessica) Clemente and Laura Clemente, eight great-grandchildren and her brother Joseph (Loretto) Marchese. Antoinette is also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband Antoinette was predeceased by her son Roger A. Clemente Jr., sister Victoria Marchese, and brother Gerald Marchese. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend calling hours on Friday, May 21, 2021 from 4:00 – 6:00pm at The Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Rd., Latham. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday May 22, 2021 at 10:00 am at St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Road, Latham with Rev. Brian Kelly officiating. Interment to immediately follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy. In lieu of flowers memorial donation may be made to St. Ambrose Church at the address above.
