EMILIA BLIZINSKI Cohoes-Emilia Blizinski, 81 of Cohoes, beloved wife of the late Joseph E. Blizinski., entered into eternal life on Monday, March 22, 2021 at her home in Cohoes. Born in Poland, on November 14, 1939, she came to the United States on May 3, 1961. She was a Nurses Aide with Samaritan Hospital in Troy for many years retiring in 2005. Emilia was a longtime communicant of Holy Trinity Church in Cohoes. She was a hard working mother and enjoyed gardening and cooking for her family. Survivors include her loving children Mary (Thomas) Caulfield of Latham, Michael J. Blizinski of Cohoes, her cherished grandsons Evan Caulfield, Eric Caulfield and Connor Caulfield, her brother Thaddeus Szurlej and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Stanley Szurlej Relatives and friends are invited to call Thursday March 25, 2021 from 10:00 - 11:00 am at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham with a prayer service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be next to her husband in St. Michael's Cemetery, Waterford.
