Loudonville-W. Roland Soucy, 95 of Loudonville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 16, 2021. .
Born in Troy on May 6th 1925, Roland was the son of the late Wilfred G. and Marion (Voege) Soucy. He married Elizabeth "Betty" Bogle Soucy on August 30th 1952, and the two cherished fifty-two years of marriage before her passing on October 6th 2010.
Roland earned his Master's Degree from RPI and went on to become a Professional Engineer. He was employed by N.Y.S Office of General Services in Albany for many years before his retirement He was also a former member of The Albany Country Club.
He was predeceased by his brother Rev. Guilbert Francis Soucy.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend graveside services on Friday March 19, 2021 at Albany Rural Cemetery in Menands where he will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife Betty. Please meet at the south gate at the intersection of Menands Road and Van Rensselaer Boulevard at 12:00 noon.
