Obituary of Mary R. Marks

MARY R. MARKS Cohoes-Mary R. Marks, 89 of Cohoes, beloved wife of the late Robert M. Marks, entered into eternal life on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at the Delmar Center. Born in Albany, on January 9, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Emile and Grace (Nonamaker) Balthazard. She was employed by the New York State four 37 ½ years in Albany. Mary was a long time member of the Colonie Elks Lodge #2192 ladies auxiliary and served as president of the auxiliary. Prior to her husband's passing she and Bob enjoyed traveling extensively around the world. Survivors include her loving son Michael (Cindy Oppici) Marks, cherished granddaughter Lacy (Spencer Iveson) Marks, brother Joseph (Jean) Balthazard and two nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday March 15, 2021 at 1:00 pm in the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Relatives and friends are invited to call Monday from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be next to her beloved husband Bob in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
