Obituary of Jerome Kevin Buff

JEROME K. BUFF Averill Park-Jerome K. Buff Sr, age 73, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Samaritan Hospital after a brief illness. Born on October 7, 1947, he was one of twelve children of the late Joseph A. and Frances Buff of Loudonville, NY. With the help of his father and brothers, Jerry started Buff's Auto Service in 1972 in West Albany at the age of 25, where he became a trusted member of the auto repair industry. Jerry's passion for cars and racing were passed down to his children and grandchildren and have become woven into the fabric of the Buff family. Jerry is survived by his wife and love of his life, Beverly (Morton), whom he married on April 19, 1969. He also leaves behind his six sons, Jerry Jr., Kevin (Denise), Greg (Ute), Ryan (Janis), Keith (Kimberly), Patrick (Colleen) and 18 grandchildren; Nicole, Matthew, Jerrod, Andrew, Justin, Zachary, Jacob, Alex, Clayton, Sean, Megan, Jack, Anna, Luke, Carter, Ella, Griffin, Kendall as well as his beloved dog, Spencer. Jerry's brothers and sisters include; Joseph Buff (late Dorothy), Late Francis 'Stub' Buff, Louis Buff (Kathleen), Bernard Buff (Roberta), Mary Mantica (Paul), Martin Buff (Sue), Robert Buff (Noreen), Michael Buff (late Rosemary), Susan Ciejka (Bill), Barbara Burns, Paul Buff (Joyce). Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated on Thursday January 14, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church 23 Crumite Rd. Loudonville. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery in Menands.
