RAYMOND JOSEPH DURIVAGE Watervliet-Raymond Joseph Durivage, 81 of Watervliet, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Riverside Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Castleton-On-Hudson. Born in Waterford, on November 8, 1939, he was the son of the late Leon W. and Felicienne (Bechard) Durivage Sr. Ray was a United States Army veteran serving in Germany and France. He was a Electrician, employed by I.B.E.W. Local #236 for many years and also worked for himself as an electrician. Ray was an avid collector of cars with a special love of Cadillacs. He was a member of the Cadillac club, he loved going to car shows and showing off his 1964 white Caddy convertible. He later switched to collect Chevrolet Silverado trucks and Impalas. He was an avid NASCAR fan with a special love of Dale Earnhardt Senior. He and his longtime companion and best friend Barbara Joan Stampfli loved vacationing in Ogunquit, Maine, Gettysburg Pennsylvania and enjoyed many trips to beautiful Lake George. In the fall they enjoyed trips to the Schoharie Valley to see the fall colors and have lunch at Apple Berry Café where he enjoyed their apple pie. In his younger years Ray enjoyed snowmobiling with his family and friends. He was a communicant of St. Ambrose church in Latham. Survivors include his longtime companion and best friend Barbara Joan Stampfli, he is also survived by his nieces and nephews Edward, Thomas, Stephen, Daniel, Leon III, Catherine Durivage and Joanne Everett, his sister-in-law Joanne DeCicco Durivage and Geraldine Lessor Durivage. He was predeceased by his nephew James Durivage. A mass will be held privately at the convenience of the family at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church 347 Aland Rd., Latham with Rev.
