NICHOLAS J. CAMPESE Latham - Nicholas J. Campese, 66 of Latham, entered into eternal life on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at New York Presbyterian Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Troy, on July 1, 1954, he was the son of Anne L. (Campana) Campese and the late Nicholas H. Campese. He was a graduate of Catholic Central High School in Troy where he played baseball and was very involved in creating the artwork and backdrops for plays performed at the school. Nicholas earned his Bachelor's Degree in art from Pratt Institute in New York City. He was a Commercial Artist employed by Young and Rubicon in New York City for many years. Nick was a very well known NYC Artist. He loved reading and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. In addition to his mother Anne Nicholas is survived by his loving siblings Debbie (Bob) Chesky, David Campese, Lisa Campese Johnnie Campese and Michael (Jessica) Campese. He is also survived by his nephews Brian Chesky, Joshua (Nan) Spain and his nieces Allison Chesky and Gabriella Spain as well as his great-nephew Hendrix Nicolas Spain. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Reverend Brian Kelly on Tuesday December 15, 2020 at 11:30 am in St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Tuesday December 15, 2020 from 9:30am - 11:00am at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy.
