To the entire Leunig family near and far:
Brian, Bella, and I are so very sorry for your loss - as part of Bill's neighborhood "family" in Latham we have very fond memories of him the past 5 years - dinners at our house, dinners at Mary Ann & John's, "check in's" to make sure Bill was up and about and had a snack. Bill shared many fond memories with us at all these occasions. His 100th celebration showed how much his family and friends appreciated Bill in their lives - we know how much of a loss he will be to all of you!
We recently relocated to Florida and are so terribly sorry to miss his services. Brian and I are thankful that we both had a dinner with him in October.
God Speed Bill - we know you have so many wonderful people greeting you in heaven!

A true American Patriot, Bill proudly served his country in World War II, and then went on to serve the residents of New York City as a firefighter. Bill will be fondly missed by his family and all that knew him. He is once again united with his beloved Joan. May he forever rest in eternal peace.
