DOROTHY M. BORDEN Latham- Dorothy M. Borden, 93, of Latham passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at the Saratoga Center Rehab & Skilled Nursing Center in Ballston Spa. Born in Albany on December 2, 1922, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary E. (Taggert) Kinnicutt. Dorothy was married to Kenneth L. Borden and predeceased by her first husband Arthur N. Densmore. Dorothy was a Principal Account Clerk employed with the New York State Dept. of Transportation in Albany for 17 years, retiring in 1979. She was a communicant of St. Ambrose Church in Latham where she was a member of the Young at Heart Club. She was also a member of C.S.E.A. She is survived by her husband: Kenneth of CT., her daughters: Carole Brooks of Clifton Park, Janice Dorton of Titusville, FL, Linda Nestuk of Gansevoort and Judi Scheely of Longneck, DE as well as her step daughters: Barbara Borden of Farmingdale, CT and Jeanne Borden Woo of Brossard, Canada. Dorothy is also survived by her three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her seven siblings. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Tuesday May 10, 2016 from 4:00-6:00 pm at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Rd, Latham. Dorothy's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday May 11 at 10:00 am at St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Road, Latham Interment will take place in Memory Garden's, Colonie.
