CHRISTOPHER OWENS Clifton Park- Christopher Owens, 57, of Clifton Park died April 6, 2016 after long illnesses of diabetes and kidney disease. His parents Robert and Joan (Mahoney) Owens and his sister Erin predeceased him. Chris was the proud father of his loving son Scott (Jamie Mazur). His brothers Timothy (Kathleen), Gregory (Kirk Buchholz), his sisters Susan (Keith) Herchenroder, Kerry (David) Brant and many nieces and nephews, survive him. Chris was a graduate of Shaker High School and Mohawk Valley Community College. He enjoyed a 20-year career with Pioneer Bank before accepting a position with Matthew Bender/Lexis Nexus for 15 years. The family would like to extend a special thank you to The DCI/Rubin Dialysis Center of Clifton Park and The Community Hospice of Saratoga and Rensselaer counties. Viewing and services will be held on Saturday April 9, 2016 at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Rd, Latham, from 9:30 am until 12:00.
