HELEN C. GABRYKEWICZ Cohoes- Helen C. Gabrykewicz, 83 of Cohoes, beloved wife of over 60 years to Edward E. Gabrykewicz, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Eddy Village Green in Cohoes with her loving husband by her side. Born in Cohoes on June 18, 1932, she was the daughter of John and Helen (Dernoga) Duda. She was a 1950 Graduate of Cohoes High School. Helen was a Comptometer Operator in the billing department at Allegheny Ludlum in Watervliet for almost 20 years. She then became the Vice President and Treasurer of Gabry's Marine Sales in Watervliet, working alongside her husband Ed. Helen is survived by her beloved husband: Edward and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sisters; Theresa, Agnes, Stella and Mary and her brothers; John and Bernard Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Monday, July 13, 2015 from 4-7 pm at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at 9:30 am at Holy Trinity Church, 122 Vliet Blvd, Cohoes with Fr. James Ebert officiating.
