DIMITRI P. "Mitch" RIMANOSKY Waterford - Dimitri P. "Mitch" Rimanosky, 62 of Waterford, beloved husband of the late Barbara Ann (Mack) Rimanosky., died Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at his home, in Waterford. Born July 27, 1946 in Niagara Falls, he was the son of the late Peter and the late Mary (Franko) Rimanosky. He was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School, he attended Buffalo College and graduated from R.P.I. in Troy with a bachelors degree in business. Mitch was a Space Planner, employed by NYS Division of Real Estate Planning he was planning on retiring in April 2009. He was married for 30 years to his beloved wife Barbara Ann (Mack) Rimanosky who died in February of 2000. Mitch was an avid R.P.I. Hockey Fan and a die hard Buffalo Bills Fan. He attended St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church in Cohoes where he was a choir member and an active parishioner. He also volunteered for many years at the NYS Theater in Troy and several other organizations. Survivors include his loving daughter Tara Christine Shanahan of Waterford, his precious granddaughter, Katie Marie Shanahan, his son-in-law, Michael E. Shanahan, his dearest companion, Elizabeth (Liza) Duncan of Clifton Park, His special In laws,Helen and Stephen Mack of Waterford, his brother-in-law, Very Reverend Steven Mack and his wife Barbara of Auburn, his nephew, Christopher David Mack of Oswego, niece, Tanya Nicole Mack of Albany, his dear friends, Ellen Macyowskie of Albany and Anne Bailey if Clifton Park, he is also survived by several cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Joseph Rimanosky. Funeral services will be held Monday November 24, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church, 67 Saratoga Street, Cohoes. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may also call Sunday from 2-5 PM at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, Ltd., 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham, NY. The Parastas services will be held on Sunday at 2:30 pm in the funeral home. Mitch will be interred next to his beloved wife Barbara in St. Nicholas Cemetery in Latham.
