BRUNO P. STRINI

Latham
- Bruno P. Strini, 90, of Latham, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on Wednesday December 28, 2011 with his loving family by his side.

Born in Italy on March 22, 1921, he was the son of the late Bonfiglio and Maria (Larini) Strini. Bruno was married to the former Eva Upright on Oct. 26, 1946 and the two have shared a blessed union of over 65 years prior to his passing. Bruno proudly served in the US Navy. He was also a member of Latham-Colonie Knights of Columbus where he served as Past Grand Knight and former District Deputy. He was also a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America as well as former member of the Ellenville Fire Department and communicant of Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Latham.

Bruno was employed with NY Telephone in Albany as an Engineer, retiring in 1984 after 38 years of service.

Survivors in addition to his beloved wife, include his loving children: Linda Nygaard of Denmark, Evelyn (Kenneth) Schultz of East Greenbush, Susan (Dan) Bentley of Morris, NY and Thomas J. (Carol) Strini of NC, 11 cherished grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren; as well as his sister: Ida Maloy of Kingston and sister in law Terry Strini of Hurley, NY, 1 nephew and many nieces.

Bruno is predeceased by his brother Robert Strini.

In keeping with his wishes there will be no visitation.

Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the O.L.A. Building Fund or to the charity of one's choice.

Memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family.
