|  MARTHA P. FARRELL Latham- Martha P. Farrell, 77 of Latham, passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, December 24, 2011 at the Community Hospice Inn at St. Peter's, Albany. Born in Whitehall, NY on December 24, 1934, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Doris (Taylor) Farrell Sr. She proudly served in the US Marine Corps as a Sergeant from 1953 to 1956. Martha was employed with the Albany County Dept. of Mental Health in Albany as a Social Worker, retiring in 1992 after over 30 years of dedicated service. She was a communicant of St. Ambrose Church in Latham. She is survived by her loving siblings: Maureen (Edward) Kehn of Troy, John (Leslie) Farrell Jr. of Queensbury and William Farrell of Latham as well as her cherished nieces & nephews: Edward J. Kehn Jr., Maureen (Michael) Milanese, Christie (Chris) Sabo, Shannan (Brian) Bohl, John J. Farrell III, William (Laura) Farrell, Justin (Megan) Farrell, Christopher Farrell and Stephanie Kehn. Martha cherished in her heart, the memory of her beloved predeceased nephew; Michael Kehn A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday December 28, 2011 at 11:00 am at St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Fr. Francis DuBois will officiate. In keeping with Martha's wishes there will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Ambrose Church or to any local food pantry.
