CHARLES ARNOLD NETH

Loudonville
- Charles Arnold Neth, 90 of Loudonville, beloved husband of the late Alyce H. Felock Neth, died Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at his home in Loudonville.

Born and educated in Troy, he was son of the late Arnold B. and Elizabeth (Pfaff) Neth. He was a graduate of Troy High School. Arnie served his country in the U.S. Navy from August 1943 to March 1946. He was a Quality Control Engineer, employed by the Watervliet Arsenal for many years until retiring in 1970. He was formerly employed by W.L.E. Gurley Co. in Troy for several years. He was a member of the Oakwood Presbyterian Church in Troy for many years and recently the Loudonville Presbyterian Church. Arnie was an avid Hunter, Fisherman and who enjoyed bowling and especially loved to play golf. He was a member of the Colonie Elks Lodge #2192 and the Moose Lodge in Merit Island Florida. He spent the last 30 years wintering in Cape Canaveral Florida.

Survivors include his sister Mary Elizabeth "Bettye" Carr of Troy, his nephew Robert T. (Irene) Carr of Troy, niece, Virginia M. (Tom) Colby of Port Orchard, WA, his grand-nieces and caregivers Christine Carr, Elizabeth Carr and Suzanne Colla, his grand-nephews Christopher Redfield, Adam Redfield and Jonathan Colby, his dear neighbors John and Gloria DeLap and Stephen and Nina Babij.

Funeral services will be held Friday July 2, 2010 at 10:30 am in the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham with Rev. Elaine Woroby officiating.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call Thursday from 4-7 pm at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham

Interment with full military honors will be in Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville.
