-Genevieve "Gen" M. Lesko, 83 of Latham, beloved wife of Albert J. Lesko, entered into eternal life on Thursday, June 17, 2010 at her home in Latham with her family at her side.

Born in Dobbs Ferry, NY, she was the daughter of the late Louis F. and Alice M. (Roper) Morrison. She was a graduate of Irvington High School. Gen married Albert J. Lesko August 18, 1956 and the two have shared a blessed union of 53 years.
She had resided in Bradenton and Bradenton Beach Florida for over 25 years before moving to Latham 5 years ago. She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Latham where she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society and the knitting group at the Church.

Survivors in addition to her husband include her loving children Kathleen M. (Gregory) Ruth of Colonie, and Susan B. Lesko of Latham, her cherished grandchildren Jenna Ruth and Andrew Ruth, her brothers John Morrison and Donald Morrison.

Gen is predeceased by her brothers; Louis, Chester, Robert, Douglas & Clifford Morrison

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday June 21, 2010 at 10:00 am in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 498 Watervliet-Shaker Road, Latham.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham.

In Lieu of Flowers memorial contributions can be made in Gen's name to the OLA Church Fund, 498 Watervliet Shaker Rd. or to Community Hospice of Albany Cty., 445 New Karner Road, Albany NY 12205

Interment will be in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Sleepy Hollow, NY.
