| ![]() HOWARD B. SECOR Latham-Howard B. Secor, 83 of Latham, beloved husband of June F. Secor for over 60 years, entered into eternal life on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at Albany Memorial Hospital, in Albany. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Howard B. Secor Sr. and Mary (Anderson) Secor. He was a graduate of Vincentian Instute in Albany and attended Albany Business College. He served his country during World War II in the U.S. Army. Mr. Secor married his beloved June F. Robinson on August 20, 1949 and the two have shared a blessed union. Howard was an Accountant with General Electric Silicone in Waterford and in Schenectady for over 31 years until retiring in 1988. He was a member of the 1st Presbyterian Church in Watervliet where he was currently an elder and a former deacon. He was a member of the Watervliet Elks Lodge #1500. Howard was an avid bowler and a former member the Watervliet Elks Bowling League. He was a lifelong New York Yankees fan. He loved gardening. Survivors in addition to his wife include his loving children Gary W. Secor of Latham and Sharon J. (James W.) Feltes of Burnt Hills, his cherished grandchildren David Feltes, Ashley Feltes and Daniel Feltes, he was the brother of Vivian Secor. Howard was predeceased by his brothers, Charles K. Secor, and Donald Secor Funeral services will be held Tuesday June 15, 2010 at 11:00 am in the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, Ltd., 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham with Rev. Steven Cronn officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to call Monday from 4-7 pm at the Funeral Home Interment will be in Memory's Garden in Colonie.
