Cindy and her family hosted me as a young married woman while I was a student in Albany. As much as I thought Cindy was sort of a second mother to me, she insisted that our relationship be one of friends (she has enough daughters!). I learned so much from her about life, and family, sacrifice and perspective. I would have wished, as do we all, for many more years of learning and sharing with Cindy. I will miss her greatly, but our family will always hold Cindy and all the Lobels as very important and a special part of our lives. Praise the Lord for every bit of hope and peace, may it abound more and more in the coming days and years.
